Why do a lot of people hate Lewis Hamilton? and whats this about nails on the track story?

They hate him because he has what every driver in F1 wants..its called Envy.

And with the nails l think youre talking about, some racist spaniards made a website wer you could place nails on a mock up track to make lewis get a ''puncture'' and ''crash and die''..wishful thinking l guess!

l will give u a analogy with a another superstar in another sport why Lewis Hamilton is hated, here is a good example: LEHYPE James, l meant Lebron.

everyone hates Lebron because he is overrated, selfish, me-first, wants money, chokes in the clutch, throws teammates under bus, demands trade for better players.

Pretty much same thing from Hamilton except they believe he is more spoiled, greedy, wants all the glory, & tries to take anyone out who is in his way for the W.

pure & simple Race & he is not even black lol

they hate him for several reasons - envy, and also they find him arrogant (because he does not really care about the rest, and drives aggressively at time, despite his age and rookie status last season). they could be envious or jealous of his instant leap to fame whereas drivers like alonso and even schumi start on lousy teams and work their way up.

these are the 2 main reasons l can think of.

l guess because he came to mclaren, came to a big team straight away where as other drivers build up to the team (e.g kimi, massa, heikki..)

also l think the alonso thing last year has something to do with it.

it is because they are jealous of him , do not know anything about nails on the track

It is not envy. Do not answer if you do not have a clue.

Hamilton is a jerk. Roger Federer and Tiger Woods have had 10 times more success and they are not hated like that.

Recently, Jacques Villeneuve, said Hamilton talks as if he had won 10 world championships. Not only actual drivers do not like Hamilton, but past ones too.

There might be some racists that hate him because he is black. But, race is not the primary reason for dislike, no way.

Because lot of people compares him Senna.=)).
