Err. You do realise a Formula One World Championship is won over 18 races, not just the last lap of the last race. Lewis had more points than anyone over the entire season. That is why he won.

He is champion as he scored the most points over the course of the season, simple really.
There is no tactics that Glock could have employed to have got him ahead of Hamilton, he was just unlucky it started to rain more heavily right at the end.
Massa could have won the title had he not spun 5 times at Silverstone, that is the beauty of F1, so many IFS.
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton, youngest WDC ever.

Firstly it was not Toyota is error. Glock was behind Hamilton when he came in to change tyres. If Glock had changed tyres as well, he would have remained behind Hamilton.
Secondly, l HATE it when people try to summarise an F1 season in the last 1 or 2 races. There r lots of reasons why Hamilton is champion:
-Massa spinning out of Malaysia
-Brilliant wins for Hamilton at Britain & Germany
-Massa is engine failure in Hungary
-Massa driving off with the fuel hose still attached in Shanghai
etc. etc.

NO.toyota l think made the right decision to keep him on drys.if he changed over to wets, Hamilton would have been ahead of him,and still claim 5th if not 4th LEWIS HAMILTON WORLD CHAMPION.2008

How can lewis hamilton be the champion when he has won only 5 races whereas massa won 6 ?! Formula 1 is a freakish sport.. And hamilton won because of glock.. Whether glock did it deliberately or not.. Massa was outstanding in the last race.. And he would've been the deserving champion.. l think VETTEL WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT YEAR THAT KID IS AWESOME..!
