Today at the start of the race it started raining and no-one expected it!

Then (i think Kubica was told) supposedly it was going to rain 40 minutes into the race and that never happened!

Then (someone else was told) supposedly it was going to stay dry for the rest of the race and it starts to rain with a few laps left.

Ive seen a few races this year, when rain has been predicted and it has stayed completely dry!

they usually try to be right because they follow the dopplar patterns
they look at those moving green things etc indicating rainfall and judge what time its going to rain and where by how fast they move
their equipment is actually remarkably high tech
but yeah they're wrong a lot
thats just how weather is...

50% right 50%wrong best job in the world..where else can you be wrong half the time and still get paid

They have not got a clue - perhaps the FIA do it to stir things up and make it interesting.

BTW, l see that you, like me, are an F1 fan today. In truth l do watch most races and have done for a years. l remember 12 months ago watching with the same anticipation going into Brazil and then feeling Lewis' heartbreak 'with him', and l thought that perhaps he will never get the chance again and he was going to another unfulfilled talent. l am glad l was wrong.
