l watched the race yesterday and l was thrilled that Lewis won the championship, but my question is this, im not an expert but why didnt Glock hold his line?, l know he was in slicks but surely he could have done better, he seemed to just move over and let Lewis through!, anyone else think the same!

l think Glock may have thought lewis deserved the title more than masa as he is so young

l realise Glock was in trouble but that was a lot of time to lose in one lap. However Glock said he had no choice so that will do for me, lewis has earned the title

Hamilton was catching him over the last few laps, as long at it rained , which it did!, he would catch him as Glock never pitted & changed to wet tyres.
If it did not rain which glock was gambling on then hamilton would of never catched him, & if glock had pitted & changed his tyres like everyone else then he would of been nowhere near hamilton anyway
glock took the gamle of no rain, which they knew it would rain?, as if he pitted he would be miles behind hamilton

Slick tyres work best at a warm temperature. During the laps previous to the last one, there was still a bit of heat in his tyres but gradually became less & less hence the falling lap times. The slicks lose grip as they get colder making very hard to control the car. He went a bit wide on the entrance at the second to last corner & could not hold the line & was up against 2 faster cars. He could have been a bit more aggressive but he would probably have spun. Trulli also lost the same time as both did a 1:44. Even as a massive Massa fan & a big Hamilton critic l do not think Glock could have done too much. Sad because Massa has been the best driver this year followed by Kubica

l was very pleased for Hamilton, he won in spite of all the tricks that have been pulled to try and prevent him winning the title, but to be honest, l think that F1 has become utterly boring, it is now treated as more of a science than a sport.

Glock was on dry tyres in the wet. Once it got just a bit too wet the tyres lose temperature as he would have had to slow down.
Cold dry weather tyres do not work in the wet & he probably aquaplaned off the racing line. Aquaplaning is where there is so much water it lifts the tyre off the track (by a millimetre or two) & the car loses grip massively.
If u drive ur road car in the wet & hit the brakes too hard u get a similar effect.
Glock is team-mate Jarno Trulli was having the same problem as he was also on dry tyres & set a similar time for the last lap.

On dry tires, he was so off the pace, it did not matter what line he ran. Lewis was simply going to go around with no problems.

Hamilton drove the race that he needed to so that he at least got 5th place, the plan was upset by the rain & yes he was lucky that it rained enough to enable him to pass Glock, it would have been bad luck if he had not got the title but he was seven points ahead at the start, but for the rain, there would not have been a problem, if the stewards had not favoured Massa in other races, Hamilton would have been the champion before the Brazil race, he was robbed of one win, which in turn promoted Massa to a win, which made a difference of six points, Bourdais was given a penalty for an infringement that was Massa`s fault, Massa would have lost a point there, all in all, l think that Hamilton deserved to win the title this year, if Massa had won the title then l would have said that he was helped by the stewards & the FIA, for some time now Ferrari have been favoured when it comes to rules & Mclaron been persecuted, lets hope that it is a fair contest next year, l would love to see Massa win a world title, l think that it is only a matter of time, he is one of my favourite drivers, my only other comment is that Hamilton needs a new team mate, Kovalinen is not good enough.

l dont think hamilton was lucky an i'm not jus sayin dat cuz i'm a huge hamilton fan hamilton n massa both had a tough year bu at the end of the day hamilton pushed himself to victory as he didnt make it any easier for himself starting 4th then ending up 6th seconds before the race was going to finish. n massa is been racing for 7 years now if he was goin to win he would ave dne it by now.

Hamilton deserved to win, with everything the FIA threw at him he has to do more than Massa.
Massa did brilliantly, nice to have some real competition again, is no one else reminded of Senna vs. Mansell
Timo Glock did't slow to let Hamilton win, he slowed to stay on the track, for which he deserves more praise, those last few corners must have been like driving on an ice rink.
David Coultard deserved better, he should have been allowed to race the spare car so he would have the memory of finishing his last GP.

l do not think he moved over for Lewis. He probably could not hold his line in the rain.

Lewis drove a brilliant race.
Glock could not hold his line as slick tyres in the wet have unbelievably poor grip. Its like driving on ice with bald tyres.

It is a great achievement but some of the media coverage is OTT. l do not remember the same hysteria when previous Brits won it (Hill, Mansell, Hunt etc). Jackie Stewart won it three years in a row
