l know, l know, many of you think Kyle Busch is a buttface. But really, besides his cocky attitude at times, and that incredible run that made the first part of the season ''boring'' to some, l just read a story that Kyle donated $100,000 to an ailing Sam Ard, the man Kyle tied for the Nationwide record in wins. He is had some very difficult financial situations, and has been running through some tough times recently.

Let is give a hand, NASCAR Nation, to Kyle Busch. Sure, he is a jerk at times, but to me, what he did was a real classy act. Go Kyle.

Here is the link:

http://sports..com/nascar/news;_ylt=Ah67YPY9TQqq1LQggcY3pW_ov7YF?slug=ap-nascar-inthepits&prov=ap&type=lgns

It also mentions Kevin Harvick donating a van to the family, and Dale Jr. donating a large sum of money to Ard is care fund.
l too have been somewhat warming up to Kyle Busch, but this sort of ''nudged'' me a bit further into considering him a favorite. Yes, he has an attitude problem. But if and when that is fixed, boy, look out.

Great , guys. Thanks.

l second that. l was going to mention the nice gesture made by Kyle on here if noone else did. Helping Sam was a great way to recognize the great accomplishment of winning 10 Nationwide races in a season. Kyle is not a bad person, he just has a bad attitude at times. It is things like this that have made me warm up to Kyle & Tony some this year. they will never be my favorites but l respect them more & more all the time. WTG Kyle & congrats on a historic season.

It is a little sad that Nascar wo not take care of it is own, but at least the drivers are willing to look out for each other.

True, but not that special. Many drivers support foundations and NASCAR makes huge donations annually. Some just do not get nor seek attention for it. No offense intended to anyone.

yes that was a class act.
and l hope many other drivers step up and do whatever they can
It is good to see some drivers take care of their own when in need

Yes, Kyle is a class act. l do not always agree with him on the track, but what he does for people off the track is amazing. Great job, Kyle. And kudos to Harvick and Jr. for helping out, too.
Lostyo     Reply with quote
He does things like that quite frequently, most just go unheard of.
My heart to you Mr. Sam Ard, take care.

Yep, Kyle is one of a kind.

It is a shame that people think Kyle is a buttface, they should look at what he does off the track.

l heard about that......classy move.....That is another reason why NASCAR rocks!!!

Wow! After reading that article, l am starting to like Kyle Busch more. That was very generous of him and l applaud him for doing that.

Just donating to some cause does not make you likable or even civil.

that is so sweet, he really is a class act. kyle really is one of the nicest drivers out there. people fail to realize this.

The NFL has started taking care of the older guys who played the sport. Some have needed hip replacements and such. The money was not nearly what it is today what it was like back then.

NASCAR should create a charity doing the same thing, Taking care of it is own, much kike other sports have started doing. And you do not have to create a player is union to do it.
krystal     Reply with quote
l never thought Busch can do that. That is just nice and it is about time!
Koenig     Reply with quote
You know all of the NASCAR drivers have charities. Jimmie Johnson has a foundation and They all give their hearts out to good causes. God Bless Kyle for being so caring and giving.

WELL KYLE GAVE ALL THE TRUCK WINNINGS TO SOMETHING OR SOMEBODY HE DIDNT KEEP A DIME

As the season is gone on, I've found myself despising Kyle less and less. Between this, an article that someone posted on here, and the fact he drives the truck series for free just to help the team out, makes me think that there is more to Kyle than what we see.

l never have nor will l ever like Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick but that was nice of them. It shows that they are not ''butt faces'' all of the time. They get a star in my book. (well at least until they do something stupid or rude)
Maxim     Reply with quote
Yeah l just read the article about that. Kyle and Kevin both have a heart of gold.
You do have to give it to Kyle he does have a heart. ANd he will do anything for anybody when the times are tough.
He actually has opened my eyes a little wider whenit comes to him. Maybe now l wont be so hard on him.

This jester by Kyle is great.Sam Ard was the greatest of his time ,however there was little put into savings since sponsorships were few and far between,so most of the money went back into the car.
Tony Stewart does the same thing and this is on reason he is my favorite driver.
Kyle this act realy does deserve a ''BOW'' and a big round of applause.
mule     Reply with quote
Yes very, very classy of the buttface (just kidding). l love hearing when these guys donate anything be it money or a van.
