As long as Texas is on the schedule I will be quite happy but what tracks are gaining and losing?
Nice to see a familiar face that likes to talks about RACING. So they switched Homestead around.l really liked surfers paradise for the fast straights.That is a bummer.Nothing like Texas at night with the sparks flying.l love that race.

You got your wish Texas is still on the schedule, no Surfers Paradise, but they do go to Iowa in June and the streets of Toronto in July. Start out in St Pete, and end in Homestead. Guess its great since you live in Fla. Calif we still have Long Beach and Infineon..

Well l think most of the tracks r staying the same, but ALOT of them have been moved around. Like Homestead & Twin Ring Motegi (which were at the beginning of 2008) r being moved to the end of 2009.

Nashville is being took off the schedule, being replaced by Streets of Toronto.

And Yes!!! l know Iowa is still on the schedule l cant wait till they come here, its one of the funnest/hardest placest for them to race at. But the track has soo much grip for them they can run 3 wide most of the race. Very exciting.

However Tbone u might be dissapointed if u havent heard. The 2009 season will be on the VS (Versus) channel. With a occasional race being on ABC. l was sure dissapointed.. SPEED did awsome coverage of the races same with ESPN.

hopfully 'ME'' at more race is two/wheel is and a moter and iIM IN [HA HA .

All that l know is that attendance will be down again and ratings will be microscopic on Versus.......

The next two years will see plenty of teams leaving the .1RL for (among others) ALMS.

Tony George will be BEGGING Marty Roth to come back.

l want to see more races. They should extend it to like 20 races.

Some of the big changes r that Miami-Homestead is last instead of first, they took away Nashville, but added Toronto. The IRL is also going to Long Beach which l am very happy about because l love that track. Another minor change is that Japan is more towards the end of the schedule instead of more towards the beginning. l do not live near any road courses, so l am trying to find a cheap & fast way to get to one because road courses r my favorite. You're right, Texas is a very fun race to watch though. Hopefully they keep that race on the schedule for a while.
