There is not a big chance of this happening anymore, but suppose the championship has been clinched with a race left to go in the season.Would you still watch it?

Few years ago, prior to the chase a driver (Matt Kenseth) had accumulated such a points lead on the competition that he was pretty much guaranteed the championship several races before the end of the season.
l still watched because l love racing.

Absolutely! l want to see where Tony ends up. l want to watch for the ''big one''! l want to see the champion get his trophy. And l love to listen to the announcers give the possible placements throughout the race as well as insights to the whole season! A true fan will be glued to the t.v. because like you said..it is our last one until Daytona!

you just have to watch it if you are a real fan, l mean l love nascar and sometimes l cant sit all day and watch the whole thing but you have to watch the better part of it, what would you say if crap johnson won the cup but freakin kenny schrader won the race

l would watch even if all the points places had been decided. it is a nascar race for heaven is sake. luckily, even if the championship has been decided, things like who will be in the top 10, the 13th spot, and the top-35 still have to be decided. that 10th spot is one hot contest with busch, junior, and hamlin being separated by 3 points total.

Of course, Is not that what a true Nascar fan does? l enjoy the racing period. If a champion has already been decided via points, there is always racing.
