Well it is been a while now and most of the bugs have been worked out. Do you like/Dis-like the COT and why?

l like that is a safer car. l do not think they have figured out the tires and the new car, l really prefer the old car.

The COT needs some changes. The car is not good for 1.5 to 2.0 mile tracks. Last night is a perfect example. The 99 gets hooked up and l mean really hooked up and pulls away constantly and lead the 2nd place car by 9.5 seconds at 1 time. Then he puts down a lot of cars and there is hardly any passing going on. Short track races the car is good but on the big tracks it needs a lot of tweaking

l like it because it is a safer car....Montoya might not be with us today if not.....
It is the same car for everyone so the others need to hit the books!

As time goes along & teams figure it out then it has become more competitive, especially after half of this season has gone by. If they will leave the car alone & let the teams work with it then next season should prove to be more interesting without the one team dominance. We r starting to see drivers running in the front that l never would have though would be there & some drivers run in the back that should be in the front. It seems like it is a hit or miss chance when setting these cars up. Kind of keeps people guessing. If Goodyear gets a handle on these tires & can keep them from blowing out on the COT then it would definitely be exciting.

l have no problem with it. l do not think it made the racing any better or worse. And now that I've gotten used to it, l think it is a better looking car than the old one.

l Think it sucks i like the way the inside is safer but they need to let up on restrictions on working on the out side in my opinion it is made racing boring

l really dislike it. yes, it is safer, but it looks closer to my grandfather is car than a race car. It has not reduced costs and many of of the safety features could have been incorporated into the old car.

l am fine with it. l like that it is safer of course but l really like how they can hit the wall (or others) and just keep on going in the older lighter cars most of the times they would crash instead of recover, l like to watch them get slide-ways and recover to, l think it makes for some really fun racing.

The COT may be safer, it sure has design flaws. Last week at Atlanta when Johnson passed Hamlin on the outside in a turn, Hamlin almost wrecked. All the drivers say on 1 1/2-2 mile tracks if u r on the inside & get passed, the air sucked away causes u to spin. The drivers all say they can not see past their own hood in bumper to bumper traffic due to the rear wing. Goodyear has been blamed for tire problems-its because the COT is unstable. The entire race on these 1 1/2-2 mile tracks all the cars r squirrely & want to have the rear ends come around. Never have l noticed these expert racers ''sawing'' the steering wheels to maintain control as they have to now. That includes the guy in clean air leading the race. The cow catcher below the bumper is a joke. One little tweak, u may as well park the car. Plus, it is doubled the expense to build them.

It is great that it is safer, but it has ruined NASCAR competitively. This is the most boring year l have ever seen in NASCAR and my favorite driver is going for 3 in a row.

l think its a toss up. Its a very good start but there is still lots room for tweaking.
l like that its safer, can take some hits and still be raced competitively, puts more skill in the drivers hands, and supposed to be a 1 side fits all car which cuts down the number of cars required.
l do not like that its so difficult to adjust, hard to race in groups, and 1 good bump and it needs to get reinspected (totally defeats the cost savings).

The only thing that l love about the COT car is that is safer for the drivers. Other than that, l cant stand it. It makes racing alot boring.

COT is good. The introduction of those new tires after Atlanta is what l dislike.
l think that is what threw Gordon off of the intermediate tracks. Remember California earlier this year. Had the best car. Remember Vegas? Top-3 car. After the new tires, whammo! He is off..
