Definately Lewis Hamilton. just see how fast his lap round the TOP GEAR test track was (on a Wet & Oily Track), compared to the likes of The Stig, Nigel Mansell, Jenson Button + Mark Webber.

Im not a fan of Lewis Hamilton so much but Jimmie Johnson cannot even compare.. Most F1 drives cannot even compare.. Hamilton is a great driver..

This question sort of depends on if u put it in the NASCAR section or the F1 section. l would say Jimmie Johnson, who has 2 Championships (possibly 3 in a week or two), almost 40 wins, 2 Brickyards & a Daytona 500. l do not watch F1, but l believe this was Lewis Hamilton is second year in F1 if l am not mistaken. To be close to winning the title in '07 & just winning it a few days ago is impressive, but l would want to see more years from Hamilton in F1 before comparing him with a driver that has been in NASCAR since 2002 full-time. Of course, that is just my opinion & there is nothing wrong with opinions. Good question!

Jimmie Johnson. No contest. F1 is a boring follow-the-leader. Plus, Hamilton may be a one hit wonder, same as everyone called Kyle Busch the next Richard Petty.

Lewis Hamilton. NASCAR is all about luck. What other sport do you see drivers go from being the best one year to being pathetic the next. Do you really think Jeff Gordon has become a driver incapable of winning in the space of 1 year. NASCAR has nothing to do with driving skill, its purely to do with how fast your car is set up. Its an oval how the feck can it be hard?

l think Lewis will edge out in this argument, but l do not think its necessarily fair either. F1 drivers (if they really & truly r considered to be the best of the best) sure have a hard time with what is considered a backstep in technology race car like what a NASCAR Race Car is today.
e.g. F1 Champ Jacques Villenueve out after 1 race.

They did a Juan Pablo/Jeff Gordon Tradin' Paint since it looks like both r gonna be Champions of their respective Series this season why not do one with both. Too bad JJ is not competing in the Race of Champions this season, they could have had an opportunity to have them compete against one another in a similar style Tradin' Paint on the British Grand Prix course.
