Well a couple Jr fans sound upset with this question. l guess that means he did not live up to expectations this season which is a trent.

He did really good this year . It takes time to get used to a new team and different equipment. He will be way better next year .

l think he did good for his first year. but, he could have done a little better l think. l know for a fact he will do better next year

All he has to do is get in his car and go out on the track, to meet his fans expectations. l think his fans are more concerned about his crew cheif. Junior is a good driver and fun to watch. And besides Junior Nation is cool. You should try it sometime. Maybe you can get a chair next to Mr. Bringlebottom

l think Junior has done a pretty good job this year. He made the Chase, has a win, 10 top 5 is and 15 top 10 is that isn't' anything to be ashamed of l can tell you that.

Did he exceed my expectations? No. Now a Championship would have exceeded my expectations. Am l disappointed by his performance? No. Am l still his fan? Yes.

Theres two more races left for him to get inside the top 10. But he has won a race, he ended that long loosing streak. Compare this yr to last yr, yes a huge improvement. It takes time to learn a new team and a total way of doing things. Next yr will be a much better yr. l am okay with what he has done so far, I'd like to see more wins. l am looking forward to 2009.

l loose more and more interest in NASCAR each and every week. The biggest reason is because Junior has not even met let alone exceeded my expectations. But l am not giving up on him because as soon as l do he will turn it around and dominate. Give him credit at least he is in the Chase. There is a lot of competition. He will have a better season next year.

Well l sure wish he would of done a little better. Not to bad for his first year with Hendricks. l will be very disappointed if he does not get in the top 10. He wont be able to go on stage. He missed last year, was kinda hoping he would make it this year.

Hi JM, l think Jr has done a good job this year alot better than he did last year, and hey he made the chase and when the bad luck stayed away he is done good so that makes me happy, and l am still his fan no matter what.

Basically Junior has run good for his first year with a new team.However he did not meet the MEDIA expectation.The media started promoting him as savior of NASCAR this year,so in that sense he did not meet the expectations.
Overall he ran good and steady with average finishes for him.Was his potential meet,no.He let out side interest get into his way.

With all of the pressure on him for his 1st season at Hendrick l am very satisfied. He won a race (call it whatever you want) and made the chase. l am certain he will do even better next year.

Well, the Chase & his bad luck kinda screwed him out of the top 5 in points(Something Kyle Busch is awfully familiar with at this point as well.).

l will say he is failed my expectations if he does not finish in the top 10, l was not expecting him to do much this season other than get a win or two(He is had the chance to win at least 3 races this season, but he is either been wrecked, had his car fade, ran out of fuel or had an asteroid fall out of the sky & land on his car, something seemed to take it away from him.) & finish top 10 in the points. As I've said, 2009 is the money year for me & alot of other people.

jr had a couple of messed up calls by eury jr he also has had bad luck that was no fault of his own other than that he is done fine for his premiere year at HMS
what if kyle had the luck he is had in the chase in the regular season he probably wouldnt have 8 wins

l will say he has not won as many races as l thought he might, but l expected him to make the chase.
And l blame myself. l did not come up with quite the right mix of pre-race rituals to guarantee his success. l went with singing along with the National Anthem this year. Instead of the dreaded '' Mute the National Anthem '' debacle of last year.
