Not at all. He has never won anything big, he has been runner up or sometimes 3rd place of everything. Even Piquet Jr. was a Formula 3 champion. He just has a big name. Rubens has destroyed younger Jenson Button in the second half of the season. Frankly, if they're gonna keep one of their drivers it should be Rubens. And then the other seat could go to Romain Grosjean or any other true talent.

As for Rubens he can not set up a car does not seem to have the Mechanical apptitude, or the outright skill to drive around the poor performing car, So maybe he should join a commentary team somewhere.

For sure, because then we can have some real Senna blood in F1 again, rather then Hamilton keep referring to himself as Senna-esque.

If only for him putting a rocket under the arse of his team-mate! They could both do with one, whomever they choose to keep.

It would be great.As for Rubens he has had a good run in F1 but he has always been in the shadow of other great drivers.Ross braun refused to spend loads on developing this years car in favour of working on next years car as there will be a great many changes for next year with slick tyres making a comeback and some of the aerodynamics will be removed.That will show the good drivers from bad

Senna is no Senna (hows that for a pun l should write headlines for the news papers) l do think that the name should give him some good sponsorship dollars to inject into whatever team he goes with so for that reason alone he might be good for a team

and FY l even Senna (ayrton) admitted that Michael andretti was the scapegoat and not the problem

He is not good at all, you watch his driving and you can clearly see that he drives wide from the curbs, and at the exit of the turns he leaves about 1 meter to the end of the track, in other words it is clear that he could drive much faster.

Bruno Senna on Formula 1 is just another publicity scheme, it will be as bad as the other drivers sons, Rosberg, Piquet, Nakagima.

Bruno Senna is one of those newcomers to the F1 bearing an important last name. They r lucky & unlucky at the same time.

They r lucky because being Senna or Schumacher, or Rosberg or Piquet instantly opens a lot of doors for you. It´s easier for u to enter with a famous name. Unlucky because if they do not perform well, the press destroys them very quickly. Piquet for instance should not be here. Ralf Schumacher was the most overrated, overpaid driver ever existed, & he only had his chance because of his name.

l can not imagine Bruno being better than Piquet Jr. but since Honda is really desperate for sponsorship perhaps the name Senna helps them a little bit.

What has Bruno ever dominated in the lower formulas? Exactly. Keep Rubens. He deserves a chance to drive the new car under the radical new regulations.
