It looks ugly as hell. But anyway I am just wondering why did they changed the rear wing height and width for next season?

It looks horrible, but they had to in order to reduce downforce. l will take an ugly wing in exchange for more overtaking every day of the week. Remember in the late 90 is when they made the cars more narrow? They looked horrible back then, but we got used to it.

To improve the chances of overtaking. End of day, F1 to me is about speed, racing, overtaking and not a beauty contest.

It is to reduce downforce so that the car following can follow more closeley without being too badly affected by the turbulence caused.
This should allow closer racing in future with more overtaking, especially with slick tyres. l think you will get used to the new look quite quickly.

It does look weird, but l remember back when grooved tyres looked ugly as hell, and now they just look normal.
