If your least favorite driver were to all of the sudden join your favorite driver is team and become their teammate, would you accept him and become their fan or would you still not like him?

Nope. Still would not care 1 cent about him. One of my least favorite has just joined my favorite as a matter of fact. l could care less.

Drivers leave their teams and go to other teams. As a fan it is cool to jump from team to team also. It is not like you have an obligation to them.

That did happen to me this year. I've grown to like the guy somewhat, but he will never be my favorite.
l can not say that the same thing would happen again, though. Pretty sure it was a fluke. : )

For me it happened when Kurt Busch joined Penske. l did not start liking him immediately but l eventually warmed up to him.

Well oddly enough that happened to me this season. Ya Jr is my favorite and l could not stand Gordon. Im still pissed that Gordon nor Johnson would hook up with Jr at the end of either Daytona or Talladega race. But ya l accept Gordon now, and can respect what he accomplished at such a young age.

l do not know. l do not really see Joe Nemechek going back to Hendrick lol.BTW,the reason l do not like him is because my friend and l had a run in with him after the truck race in Atlanta(2006).He came out on a golf cart(without slowing down and almost running over a few people as there was a crowd) and yelled,'' l ai not signing no f-ing autographs''.What a jerk.

l am not a ''team'' fan, so it would not matter what team they are on. If l do not like them, l do not like them.not their fan.

Most people are loyal to a person than a team in my opinion so l may choose to accept him but still not like him.

Somehow l do not ever see Rick Hendrick hiring Johnny Sauter, if he does l will croak. Just the sound of him being Jimmie, Jeff and Dale Jr, is team mate makes my ears hurt..

well, tony stewart was one of my least favorite drivers before kyle moved to jgr this year, & against what l believed would happen, l ended up liking stewart quite a bit. he originally rubbed me the wrong way with all his battles with kurt, then again with his battles with kyle last year. but once l started paying attention to what he was actually saying, & not the media is restatement of it, as well as to how much he actually gave back to other racers, his teams, his tracks, his community, l began to like him a lot more.

l would accept him, but it would take me a while. I'd have to see him show a little more respect for other driver is and watch his mouth. But l probably still would not like him.

Depends on how good they worked together as teammates. If they worked good with my favorite driver and did not trash him or wreck him l would think about it - if they did not work good together and l heard trash talk against my favorite driver l for sure would hate him still.

Great question. At least l know this situation will never happen to me because Stewart is starting his own team!
Did not Kyle Bush when he was on Hendrick is but still rooted for him when he had a chance to win (unless he was wrecking his team mate).
l think most fans are loyal to their drivers and/or teams and it is hard to change their minds. It would be hard for me to do but over time l might get past my prejudices and be able to root for that driver.

Honestly it would depend for me on how he did his first season with my favorite team. For example, if he was real attitudy, annoying, dangerous, and unhealthy for his new teammates, l would still not like him. However, if he was awesome, bonded great with his team mates and was a totally changed driver, then l would like him.

As a huge Smoke fan it did happen.love Gibbs racing, so l looked at it this way, they made a decision, whether l agreed or not l would support the team and always Tony.and guess what l kinda like ole KB now.of course being a Tony fan a lot of people do not care for him either.but l just love him.can not wait for next year!

No if l do not like them, l would never be their fan no matter if they were on my fav is team or not. l would stick to my driver regardless
