We all know that Jimmie 'Cheater' Johnson is going to win his 3rd straight title in a couple weeks. But when you look at the last 10 races, at least half of the races are at cookie cutter tracks (Atlanta, Homestead, Kansas, Texas, Charlotte). Where is the competiton?

If you could create the chase, how would you do it?

My answer:

My chase would only have 5 races with the top 10 drivers in points eligible.

We'd have one cookie cutter track (Vegas), a road course (The Glen), a restrictor plate race (Talladega), Darlington (The Wild Card), and you finish the season at Bristol (you crown the champion in a stadium like atmosphere).

That way, the points leader will have to fight to keep his lead, not coast his way to a title.

the chasers should have a separate point system
from the rest of the field
so there would be more challengers at the last race

l was watching 'Nascar Now' the other day and D. Waltrip was talking about his vary thing. He said he would make it 5 races too, which l agree with. He also had an idea that maybe someone would 'go home' ever week until they were down to just 1.

l think it would be good to add Watken is Glenn as a track to the chase. l really enjoyed it when they raced there this year and was sad it was only once.

l do not know how l would configure the chase because l would git rid of it all together.

The #48 team started off this year rough, they worked hard & r now fighting for the Championship. It ai not over so 'we' do not know Jimmie is going to win. Another week like the last one & he could be in a lot of trouble. It ai not over till the Checkers at Homestead.

To answer ur question l like the Chase just fine, the only thing l would change is l would add a few more night races. Other than that l am happy with it.

l am also happy with the outstanding job & performance the #48 team is putting out & the great show we get to see.

l would do away with the Chase completely. But l would invert the field for the last 10 races.

l do not like the Chase. l liked it the way it was before. How can you have races with 43 cars, but only 12 of them matter? If you want to limit the championship to one of 12 drivers, only let those drivers participate. But that would be boring, would not it?
