We all know the fact that Michael Schumacher is a great driver. but considering his age, the past two years when he was not able to win the championship and the upcoming of drivers like Hamilton as well as pther factors..... would Michael be able to reach the mark of 100?

No the spirit he possessed in his youth had exhausted him. In the last championship he seemed to exhausted and stressed and l think he needed a long holiday plus.

There would have been l think 3 F1 drivers which with an ability of driving similar to his if not better, they were young and he was old the only thing that he possessd better was his experience the probability would 30% or less

l recently watched an interview in which he said he was completely exhausted & could not have continued even if he had wanted to 'My batteries were dead'' l think was the term he used.
He had been pushing himself physically & mentally for 15 years & probably had the hardest time at Ferrari. Contrary to popular opinion, he is only human & has deserved his rest.

l think 90-odd race wins is pretty impressive enough!

l do not think so. because even in his last year when he had some virtuoso performances. they really seemed to take it out of him, when they used to be effortless at times.

And by the time he retired l think Alonso definitely had the better over him. it was the right time.

l still would like to see him do the odd race. but it is unlikely. One of the Ferrari boys would have to be unable to race first. then either Luca Badoer or Marc Gené would have to be unavailable.

Yes but only on the theory that, Todt, Braun& Bryne staying together and a 2nd driver happy to follow behind like Barrichello. He ''only'' needed 9 more wins and though it pains me to say it, he would of been far stronger than Kimi& Felipe were these last 2 years.
l am glad he retired when he did though, 15 years in F1 is enough for anyone.

l wish he were still racing, he would have made 100 sometime in spite of the imbeciles in charge of the sport fixing the results. Alonso, Hamilton etc do not have what he and Senna had.

Not very likely. Schuey had obviously lost a couple of tenths in his last two season. Alonso beat him. He could still dominate in sports cars or the IRL though.

Most likely. But l don´t think reaching 100 really interested him, & he was getting tired. Yet, if he wanted to come out of retirement & get back in shape, Ferrari would still take him over Kimi or anybody, so superior is his talent. Over his entire career he took on the best. Only Senna could outdrive him, but perhaps Schumi was more consistent in that he knew the limits of his car better than anybody, & to win, you´ve got to finish the race. It will be a long time before somebody breaks his record.

If Michael did not retire and carried on until this year he would and the likes of Lewis would be sweating there socks off. to me Michael is far better than any other driver in formula 1, he is not a cheater for what they called him,its Lewis is the cheater and a sore loser worse than Juan pablo Montoya.

If the core stayed together, maybe not one year but def in two years. He was just that much better than everyone else. Remember F1 had to keep changing the rules so Ferrari would lose and with the F1 car last year, he would have been dominate over McLaren.
