Brundle is staying, which l thinks great, Coulthard& some of the radio5 live commentators are joining, as its only Martin who keeps his job.
1 thing worries me though, will the beeb spend as much money on the technical pieces that ITV have done?
Murrary, legend that he is, will be 86 next year so l would not think he'd return

It is great that Martin Brundle is staying. He is just about all that makes watching ITV is coverage worthwhile.
Apparentlyy Murray Walker is open to the idea of returning. l can not see him coming back in the same capacity as before, probably as a pundit.

Blessed relief. smart move for Beeb with Hamilton likely to be even more in spotlight ratings will improve.

Yep ..good to be back on the beeb but please please please no MR Walker .unfortunately he is passed it and should be enjoying his retirement.Time for some young blood to take over

l will be cracking open the champagne for the first race to celebrate no ad breaks. l would have like to have seen Louise keep her job, l like her interviews.

Yes no ads to spoil our tv, to many ads per break. spoils the races for armchairs fans like me.

Not really the bbc are far to patronising and some of the people who they lined up to present F1 are terrible.

l do not know really because I've only ever watched F1 on ITV so l do not know what to expect from the BBC. It will be nice to have no ad breaks because they can be so annoying. l still remember that time in the San Marino GP in 2006 l think it was when Fernando Alonso & Michael Schumacher were fighting for the lead with a few laps to go & then the ad break cut out a lot of the battle.

It will be interesting to see what the new people r like, & if David Coulthard will be good at presenting.

For F1 to be back on the beeb is my dream partnership, may l reiterate that there will be NO ADVERTS!!
Glad they're keeping Martin, & the addition of Coulthard is inspired, he will still be up on the new technology & will inject his dry wit alongside Brundle is drier wit! Looks like the start of a good partnership.
Jonathan Legard is coming form Radio 5 live & i'm sooooo happy, he is a great commentator who is not given for drama & sycophancy (a la Allen) & does what all good commentators do, describes what is going on infront of them. Why is Hammond is name coming up? He does not even like F1!

l was listening to some commentary of his recently-Monaco 1992- & Murray was in full ebullient flow. It was a complete contrast from his last few seasons at ITV where his enthusiasm & clarity was only hampered by his advancing years. He is my F1 hero & is an icon of the sport, but l think he is earned his retirement.

Let is hope DC joins Brundle in the commentary box. That would be terrific.
