To me F1 is the pinnacle, by miles. It is what motorport should be about. Cars designed purely for speed only compromising on safety & improving the show. However, l do have respect for NASCAR. It’s the shame the only show the races during early morning hours in this country otherwise l would watch it. It is interesting, driving on ovals is not as easy as ur think. You have to constantly balance the car on its limit. However, u do not negotiate RACE circuits & the cars r not a pure extension of the drivers.

l did not used to like NASCAR much, but that was mainly as l did not understand it. If you actually learn about it then it can be quite interesting, but it is completely different from most other forms of motorsport.

Funny how Villenuve lasted one race in NASCAR is top series, & Montoya is nothing but a field filler. l mean really, Jeff Gordon took Montoya is Williams around Indy a few years ago & was only a second off Montoya is time with only 10 laps in the car. It is as*holes like u that is made me say some nasty stuff about F1 in the past, of course now that I've watched a few races l actually like it, but it is the attitude of people like u that turn me off. NASCAR is boring, the tracks are boring (racing in ovals, whats that all about) the cars are boring, the driving is boring and its no fun to watch. Theres little overtaking, the drivers have no talent and overall its a gay sport. Everyone knows that. (wow, bet ive pis*ed some redkneck is off reading this, ah well its all true)
F1 owns Nascar anyday, Nakajima has more talent that all those Nascar drivers put together. lol
