He is only 12 points behind Hamilton and 7 behind Massa.If Hamilton and Massa take each other out again like in Japan, would not it be fun for him to sneak through and win the championship like Kimi last year?

Yes, but only because that would probably lead to the points system being changed so that a win is worth more points. l said a month or so ago that Kubica was the only driver I'd back to finish in the points at every one of the remaining races.if Kubica is champion then Massa & Hamilton have only themselves to blame.

Kubica actually has as many top-4 finishes as Hamilton this season (9), & one more than Massa. Very consistent when u consider that he is only had the 3rd/4th best car this year.

After the way Massa and Lewis have been behaving recently, l am sure everyone would like to them both get beat by Kubica.

It would be great to see someone thats not in the big 2 teams. Kubica is a very good driver this is seen by his consistant results throughout the season. If he had a car has quick as the ferrari or the maclaren he would have been alot closer to becoming WC

Kubica to finish second behind Hamilton but to beat Massa.

After the last race, and quite a few bad drives and antics by Hamilton and Massa, l really feel neither deserves the championship.
Hamilton is behaving like a spoiled kid, doing exactly the opposite of what he said he would do. Massa after Silverstone, his disastrous pit stops, and ramming on lewis, would not be a deserving champ.

Kubica on the other hand has been consistent, silent and effective. He is really having good results with lower standar machinery.

l hope he does (: l know julian does. lol but he is the driver no one thought about.

If he had won more than one race then l would say yes he deserves it. even though he is not been in the best car that still should matter, & Lewis has driven as well as Kubica & it is paid off more due to a better car. l think he deserves second though.. just to wipe the smug smiles off Ferrari is & Felipe Massa is faces.

Hamilton, Kubica & Alonso have been the best 3 drivers of the year by quite a way, despite what the standings say.

IMO the 'correct' Championship result would be.. (based on performances AND Lewis winning the Belgian GP)

4. Raikkonen
5. Kovalainen
6. Alonso
7. Heidfeld

He needs to be on the podium and get lucky. l don t think Massa and hamilton are going to have bad luck, though
