What is the best place to park at Texas Motor speedway.l have to check in at the nascar trailer to pick up the hot passes.Is there concessions around the pit areas?We are going to be watching the race soley from the pits, so l was curious about food/drinks etc?Thanks

what? hotpass is just a package of extra channels that are dedicated to a single driver throughout the entire race with terrible commentators (like hermie sadler - he can barely speak english and hes a commentator)

the only thing a hot pass allows you is access to the garage area while the race is in progress. during all the action.

l can only speak for Texas Motor Speedway & when l had hot & cold passes in 2006 fall race. Hot passes will get u in the garage & will get u on pit road behind the pit boxes during the race. If u r lucky & l was, we were able to get a few autographs from drivers & Nascar officials if they mingle at the hauler or in the garage before the race starts & them walking from the motor coach area to pit road right before the opening ceremonies. Autographs r not guaranteed though. It also will not get u in the drivers meeting l tried & was escorted back to pit road. :(

a hot garage pass gives u access to the garage area at all times, as opposed to a cold pass which only gives u access when there is nothing going on on the track, such as the race, qualifying, or practice. the best time to have this pass is on friday, during qualifying, as all the drivers, crew chiefs, & car owners r walking all over pit road & in the garage area, i've gotten litteraly hundreds of autographs during qualifying.

and no free food with a hot garage pass, you're thinking of hospitality passes, which is a completely different thing. hospitality passes get u free food, & autograph sessions with a couple of drivers, usually scrubs like aric amerola or someone, & maybe a couple of 'hot laps' around the track. is that what u have?
