hi l have a yz85 large im 13 and about 180cm l have never raced before and wanna start but l dont no what bike to move up to l live in adelaide SA austrailia so yer l wanna stay on a yamaha l have been riding two strokes since l was 5 and have never ridin a full size 4 stroke (i have rid a pit bike) so what age do you have to be to race a yz250f?? or do u guys think l should stay with the two strokes and get a yz125??or could l race the yz85 but l think im getting a bit big for it any help would be great thanks john

stay with the two strokes & ride a 125. You need to wait a few more years because ur body is still growing. Do what u have to do to compete with other guys in ur age group. Just keep gaining experience. Take ur time. You will be a lot more competitive around the age of 16. When u get older u will feel how ur agression has ''grown'' & u can worry more about the machine u ride. Right now u need to practice on ur technique, since u r in the stage of learning, that certain things u do will be stuck with u all ur life.

l dont know much about motor cycles unless its Harley Davidson and l dont think they've made a dirt bike since the 70s
