All l am saying is it is obvious Jimmie is successful anytime he gets in the car.Granted the setup might have nothing to do with why he is better than anyone else.But these two are teammates, and Jeff owns half of the car.Why does not he just go to Jimmie and use some of his setup to help him.

Jeff has tried running the 48 is setups in the past and it does not work for his driving style, supposedly. l just think Johnson is that much better than Gordon, or at least Knaus is that much better than Letarte.

From what I've heard they tried doing that a few times, & from the way l heard it Jeff Gordon likes a tighter race car then Jimmie Johnson does & there driving styles r different too. Casey Means & Jeff Gordon had the same sort of driving style but since Casey Mears never really did anything, no offense, then that didnt really help Jeff. Jr. not likes having a setup closer to Johnsons, so Jeff just uses what works for him, & they tweak it until they hit upon something.. So hopefully this helps.

bc they dont have the same driving style..so they use different setups in the car the same thing goes for jr. and casey..i would have to say out of the hms drivers jimmir and jr. prolly have the closest driving set up but even theirs isnt exactly the same set up in the car
