Okay, it is the final lap of the Daytona 500. Let is say that your favorite driver is in the lead and another driver that has never won a race or has not won a race in years is running side-by-side with your favorite for the win (and it would probably be one of their only shots at a win in a while). Who would you wanna see win? If you have a reason, give me why.

My guy who happens to be Tony Stewart. The reason? Because l have watched him lose on the last lap too many times!

As much of a sappy sucker for first time winners as l am, that is only if Kyle is out of contention, if he is going for the win, l do not care who it is, l am pulling for him and him only.

l think we are all loyal to our favorite drivers so l would stay with my favorite. That is one race you can brag about your whole life time and if you get the chance to win it you go for it. no questions asked.

l would be pulling for my driver, of course. Sure, the sentimental favorite makes for a good story, but the win is better for my team.

It is hard for me to answer that because neither of my drivers usually stand a chance of winning. So If Jamie was winning and Bobby pulled up beside him. l would hope for the best race possible and wouldnt care which one won. l would be happy either way.

l have to say my favorite driver. Here is why. Robby Gordon is my favorite driver. My gosh, if he were in the lead l would be so excited & would not root for the other driver. However, l would wish a good clean race.

l think if my favorite driver had won a ton of races & my second favorite driver was the under dog (that l may have taken a liking to) is side by side with my favorite driver then l would root for the under dog.

Daytona 500, Feb. 2008, Mark Martin is a favorite driver of mine. l was disappointed that they did not throw a caution, when someone wrecked, that allowed Kevin Harvick to win.

l was so disappointed for Mark as he has never won at Daytona.

Each man for his own and l do not blame Kevin for wanting the win and going for it.

l would pull for my favorite driver. You just never know if they will ever get the chance or another shot at such a prestigious race. l would stick with Kurt.

l would want to see Dale Jr. win it. He is the guy l root for first and foremost. Dale Jr. needs more wins. He may not be a contender right now, but if he finishes in the top 10 I'd say he still had a great year :D

well my favorite is Kyle Busch and l want so much to see him win a Daytona 500. The veterans had their shot at it many times. l would love, for old times sake, see a long time driver get it.BUT.not if my guy is also in contention for the win..
