They both had fresh tires, but either way l think they were both very impressive because of the great moves they made to get to the front that quickly.
l am just meaning by individual performances there Rick. Not the races that were the most exciting. l agree about the Harvick win, though. l liked him in 2001 and it helped the healing process after Sr is death seeing him win.

l like the 2001 Harvick/Gordon finish and the 2005 Edwards/Johnson finish at Atlanta. l discount the trucks because not all the best are driving those.

l liked yesterdays the best. They both were great finishes though.

l will 2nd the 2005 finish by Carl Edwards, for his first cup series win. That was more impressive to me because of the equal tires. Kyle is win was probably more impressive between the 2 u list but both of their finishes have been over hyped, in my opinion. Yes, they did what they had to do but against cars with much older tires. It makes them look superhuman when many of the top drivers could have had simialr results under similar circumstances. Kyle is astounding year will go down as one of the best ever, as will Jimmie is 3 year run.

They both did good jobs in yesterday is race. l Have to go with the 2005 Edwards/Johnson finish, as well.

Johnson by far he was a lap down and in 30th place at one time after a penalty for speeding into pit road..
and ended up finishing 2nd

Definately JJ yesterday, i've never seen anything like that 1 but i'm only a 7 year NASCAR fan.

They are both great performances, but l think that J.J. is comeback not just in the final laps, but almost the whole race yesterday after that penalty was amazing. Plus, Kyle did not have to worry about points in the trucks like Jimmie is in Cup, who drove hard the whole race to get a good finish.

JJ is for sure. When a driver does what he did, that is championship caliber. That is what makes a champion. Not only the driver but a crew chief who is not afraid to take chances.

Gotta be JJ. Coming from a lap down early to move into the top 10 with 10 to go. Plus the fact that Edwards did not even know he was second until someone told him in the winner is circle just took the wind out of his sails. Finally, this is Nascar is premier series (gotta count for something).

Harvick is win in 2001 was the best cause Dale Sr fans really needed to see a win and at the end of the race he held up a #3 flag like that win was just for him it was great
