can anybody tell me what the WDC standings would be had there been no penalties throughout the season?

WDC? is what exactly?

Sure, it is not easy to work out exactly as when there have been drive-through penalties, it is hard to work out where that driver would have finished.

But the main ones:

Canada, Hamilton got a 10 grid place penalty for the following race at France & then a drive through there for cutting a corner, assuming he had not had these penalties l think he would have finished 2nd, behind Massa, as Kimi had a broken exhaust. So, +8 points for Hamilton & -2 for Kimi.

The next race where one of the front runners received a penalty was Spa, where Hamilton lost the win due to his 25 seconds penalty after the race, again for cutting a corner. Assuming he did not get this penalty, he'd have won the race & Massa would have been 2nd still, so +4 for Hamilton & -2 for Massa.

At Japan it is harder to work out, Massa would probably have finished 4th & Hamilton might have got a point for 8th, so Hamilton +1 & Massa +3 points.

So overall you'd still have the same drivers fighting for the championship, but Hamilton would have won by now as he'd be 19 points clear of Massa.

If the result is is not clear after 2 hours of racing at Brasil there will be an extra half hour added on. If it is still not clear, then it will be decided by penalties!

Massa will be the first to miss a penalty and Lewis will win.
