Why are the Spanish racing supproters so racist towards Lewis Hamilton

It is because people will always hate winners.

you are an octopus. That is shame.

Because their hero, double world champion Alonso was humbled by Hamilton in his rookie season.

The truth hurts & they can not take it.

Alonso is fighting for fourth place in the championship while Hamilton is leading it.

The Spanish r stupid. ( l am joking, that would make me racist, but u do have to wonder sometimes) Only about 40,000 people have been on that site & there r over 40 million Spaniards, so it is only a tiny minority of them, unfair to say it is the Spanish in general.

because they are ignorant,Insecure idiots who are always racist to anyone who is not white,some of the Backward Spanish morons need to move with the times appreciate diversity..or least be educated!!

It has to stop and it is not just about Lewis, let is see what they say when Bernie threatens to take away the spanish races.

As someone who follows the F1 both in spanish & english, l can say there´s a whole different view on things form Spain that from the UK.

Most of the F1 fans (not everyone) in Spain r newcomers. They became fans because Fernando Alonso. Consider that 5 years ago they didn't´t have open TV broadcast of the F1 season. What Alonso accomplished in 2005 & 2006 really had a huge impact on the country, & everyone became more interested in Alonso & F1. Now they have 2 GPs per year & a lot more of involvement.

Sports media in Spain is EXTREMELY nationalistic & biased. Not only on newspapers, but also on the web & on TV. (Marca, AS, Telecinco) Races in Spain r commented by people who target the new fans, those who adore Fernando end therefore instead of giving a true & broad perspective of the sport, they focus only on Fernando. That means that if Fernando is angry at Ron Dennis, then Ron Dennis is the devil. If Lewis is faster, is because he cheated. or because he receives better treatment, or because Lewis copies his set ups.

Last year with the Fernando-Lewis saga, spanish media became absolutely biased. People in Spain believe that Alonso lost the Championship because Lewis did not play fair, because Ron sabotaged his car, & these absurd ideas were echoed by journalist & reporters in written press, the web & TV. There r millions of urban legends & lies that were repeated over & over, that most spanish fans think is true.

If u visit web forums on spanish papers u find very quickly that most spanish fans r not very knowledgeable of the motor sport. And they r extremely passionate about their feelings.

Everybody knows that Alonso is extremely talented, but in Spain he is a God. Even when he lose a race, media reports explain how unfair is that he does not have a proper car.

Fernando didn't´t help either, as he gave very different to questions made by local or foreign media. With the web & globalization everything u say spreads quickly. He knew many things said (About Lewis & McLaren) were blatant lies & he kept quiet. Now everything is out of control. Spain is as racist as any other european nation, but the national pride sometimes pulls a little bit more.

Alonso is a great envious.

first of all it happen when alonso was still part of mclaren & that feud last yr coz them (who knows) the title, off course the spanish fans will back their homeboy & accuse the other side of favouritsim (alonso ego too big) & what else to target hamilton execpt his skin color. if his not a colored driver, they might target him as a homo (gay) or somethin else,

this group of fans does not represent the a real spanish f1 fan(s).
l hope they threaten to cancel the spanish race & move it somewhere else but FIA got no ball unless these attacks target a ferrari driver & without even blinking an eye they will cancel the spainsh race.. :)))

l can not explain the logic behind their stupidity but l hope it is enough of a reason for Bernie and the FIA to drop the boring Valencia race off next years calendar.

1/ The Spanish think torturing bulls is a sport.
2/ They think crushing a donkey to death is a religious festival.
3/ They think throwing live goats from church spires is acceptable.
4/ They do not eat their evening meal until 10pm.

That gives u some idea of how inbred the Spaniards r & why they r so scared that someone of mixed race is better than their beloved Alonso,
Lewis if u read this just ignore them. Lets have a British driver win the championship in a British car (OK it has a German engine).

The Spanish r a bunch of racists. That is just the sad truth of it.

Racial abuse of Heskey, Ashley Cole & Sean Wright Philips being subjected to 'monkey chants' at the football game against England in Madrid a couple of years ago. Now the English FA have refused to play Spain in Madrid this year. How did the Spanish FA react? They have said there is no problem with racism in their country, that their fans r all fantastic & that they do not understand what the English FA problem is! Last month Marseille players & coaching staff were racially abused by Athletico Madrid fans. What have the Spanish FA done? Once again - nothing. And of course earlier this year Lewis & his father were terribly racially abused at the Barcelona circuit during a testing session.

It is an absolute disgrace that Spain has now 2 Grand Prixs. The FIA should chuck them out altogether until they can show they r civilised & have eradicated the stain of racism from their sport & society.

Because they love Fernando alonso, & Lewis bothered Alonso when Alonso was at Mclaren, Alonso ended up hating Hamilton so so did Alonso is fans. they need to have something to insult him with so as he is the only coloured driver on the grid they decided to poke fun at his race. To be honest l do not think they've actually got anything against coloured people, if he was white they'dd find something else to insult him over. l really do not like the guy but its got absolutely nothing to do with his race, anyone who automatically does not like him just because of the colour of his skin should be shot, its ridiculous.

What l dont understand & keep asking myself why r the spanish well the 40,000 spaniards r putting race into the issue reading on the sun the other day someone had the cheek to call lewis hamilton bloody HALF BREED this is really offensive to me aswell as l do have a white mum & black dad this just shows that some spanish r living in the era of slavery were people believed white people to their colour r somewhat superior? we r all the same & dont see why they can just support who they want to support without making it nasty spain have to be very careful what they r stepping into as one day they wont be known as the english tourist hotspot but the rascist country which they r approaching really quickly. This proves that rascism has not gone away but still very much alive in this world today reading some of the quotes the so called spanish supporters commented on made me sick this shows how narrow minded some people can be.

We are not racist. Hamilton always argued with Alonso. And Spain love Alonso. It is not racism!
