Yes he does have a lot of luck but he also has a lot of talent too.

Yes, he is lucky. Luck is why Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards are not going to win the Sprint Cup even though they both won more races than Jimmie.

(Carl is 100-point deduction did not help matters either. If he ends up losing by less than 100 points, he is really going to be PO'ed.)

There is no denying that he catches some breaks here & there but a lot of times the ''good luck'' is a result of hard work & consistency. The main thing with the 48 team is that they never panic when things r not going their way. Staying calm & focused on getting the best finish u can helps them avoid an abundance of what many people call bad racing luck. In my opinion Paul Menard is the luckiest driver out there. He is lucky to be born to a father with deep pockets & lucky to have a full time ride in the cup series.

his biggest luck is that his 7 best tracks are in the chase, hes going to win it every year unless nascar starts switching up

Anyway, l think J.J. and Chad Knaus are probably one of the best driver-crew Chief combinations. EVER. He has a top notch crew, top notch guys back in the shop, etc.. and all that.. turns ''into'' luck.. see what l am saying?

Chad Knaus is an absolute genius.
Oval track racing is all about set-ups and when you have a good set-up your fast which means your front out of the danger zone to get caught up in a wreck. Yes you need a driver, a good one at that and yes jimmie is a great driver but Chad makes it happen.
Im not saying drivers ar not extremely talented athletes because l myself am an aspiring Sprint cup driver but with out a good team and set-ups you have no chance.
