l would like to see Jon Wood in there again at least part time.

l am not sure but l hope they, or somebody else gives Scott Riggs a chance at a full time ride. Jon will probably be in the 21 car some but there a a few options out there that include Scott Wimmer as well. It seems like there r too many drivers & too few fully sponsored cars in these tough economic times.
edit: Yeah Maggie, l checked the Wood Brothers Racing website, jayski & some other places but could not find anything really. l thought l heard them talking about it on some NASCAR show a week or so ago but l do not recall if they said who the drivers would be.

l agree with Steve as l can not find anything updated on the Wood bros. team. Jon we do know will be in but do not know who else.

I've done a good bit of looking. Like the others said there does not seem to be any info. Kevin Wood is suppose to be driving in the truck series ( l think). Ambrose is going to JTG Racing in 2009. Jon Wood could possibly sit in with a part time schedule.

Maybe Bill Elliot will share half of the season with Jon Wood. Other choices (and l am not sure here) could be Kelly Bires or maybe Bobby East. l have not researched the future of any of those names so do not hold me to it if l am wrong :)

Not sure. l would not be surprised if they put Jon Wood there though. l know for sure it would not be Bill Elliott anymore.

Havent heard of the plans for next year but the rumors are that they may end up merging with Hall of Fame racing and may switch to Toyotas though HOF could switch to Ford. As for a driver l think perhaps Patrick Carpentier could be given another shot. He has been a great qualifier and l am sure getting in the race would be beneficial for him, If not Carpentier than Riggs or Tony Raines

Jon Wood and Marcos Ambrose l think

l do not beleive their 2009 plans have been finalized. Bill Elliott said he would run a select number of races for them to help out if they asked him. l know they were talking to several of the ''free agent'' drivers and l guess Jon Wood is always a fall back option. l think they were counting on Marcos Ambrose, until he went to Brad Daugherty is new #47 team.

Bill Elliot said he might race a couple races next year in Cup. As far as l know, Jon Wood is the only other driver that would be driving that car next year.

Kevin Wood will race in the Truck series.
