l can give u a nice story about him. l saw this interview on either SPEED or maybe it was MTV Cribs. Not sure, but anyway here is the story..

When Ryan is dad was a boy he liked to race & he did try it. Built himself a go-kart & raced it. On his very first run he hit a light pole & put himself in the hospital, seriously injured. His mom (ryan is grandma) was not thrilled & put his racing career to an end, she threw the car away.

Well after Ryan was born his dad still with racing in his blood said ''we got a racer'' & when old enough he built Ryan a go-kart of his own that started him on his way to a racing career.

Well when his grandma realized Ryan was going to live the dream of racing she took Ryan aside & told him she never threw away is Dad is go-kart & she still had most of the pieces, Ryan took that kart & restored it to it is original state, his dad never knew it still existed, had no idea his mom kept the pieces.

Ryan Newman won the 'Winston' in 2002 & presented his dad with that very same restored go-kart to thank him. Pretty emotional moment for all. Ryan said he was hoping for perfect opportunity to give it back to his dad. He was blessed with just that.

l can tell you about him next year he will be team mate with tony stewart and his new car is going to be 39 because that is his favorite car number and he only won one race this year and it was daytona 500 go ryan Newman
