Imagine this:The Sprint All-Star Challenge as a total knockout event.
-The field starts with ALL drivers in the Top 43 in Owner is Points and the field is set by drawing numbers.

-The race consists of 5-lap stints.Any caution laps do not count(oh yes,there will be caution laps).

-After every stint,the bottom five cars are knocked out of the race.Any cars that have incidents during a stint are counted towards the five that will be knocked out.

-This goes on until you have only 8 cars remaining in the field.
First stint leaves 38
2nd stint leaves 33
etc.
-When there are 8 remaining,it is mandatory for all remaining teams to pit for fuel,4 tires,and any adjustments needed.It works the same as pit stops under caution,with a race off of pit road.
-With only 8 drivers remaining,the stints now only knock out 2 cars per stint.
-Three more five-lap stints leave only two cars remaining.
The last two drivers are set to battle it out for the 1 million dollar prize in a five-lap shootout to claim the bragging rights as the last man standing in the Sprint Cup All-Star Challenge for a whole year!!!


It is far-fetched,but l would like to see it!!

l like it but a problem there should be more mantadory pitstops and also if you have a bad drawing number you cant make up five spots five laps so more laps like ten would be nice

Nope. l don' like it at all. While l like almost all of the driver is out there, if you do not win a race, or have not won the All-Star race before, then you are not an All-Star. Now if they change the name to '' The Luckiest Mofo Alive'' race, well that is another matter.

It certainly is interesting.

l think they should do away with non-points races.

Sounds confusing.
