I'd have to agree - am not a Hamilton fan, but he has been increasingly arrogant over the last few months. l found myself really rather chuffed he was stripped of his title in Belgium (do not remember at the moment - when Timmi went out) and thats not like me.

Well, l think Belgium was the race where his arrogance & aggression showed the most.

Saying that Kimi did not have the balls to brake late? That is definitely arrogant. l read that he was also panned by other drivers on how he overtook them. And now, he is boasting of his ''control'' on racing for points instead of going all out.

l think he was lucky he came into a top team & started going onto the podium & winning races immediately. If he had started at a lower team & faced some struggles before going to McLaren, perhaps his head would not be so big.

l also feel that the British papers tend to build up expectations on anyone who has a chance of winning. That did not help either

Lewis is a proud young man and he wants the world to know it.A fair question would be, can any of his crazy jealous doubters drive a Motor Car like he does.The answer is no,He has a very special gift and deserves to be where he is.On the contary he is not arrogant but does speak his mind and rightly so. l would guess on winning the title he will leave F1 for the US where he will be appreciated.

l have a lot of time for Nigel Roebuck- his knowledge of F1 is second only to Rosbif l think- & he is entiltled to say what is before him.
But
l am sick to death of 'Hamilton is Arrogant' comments from all & sundry. If he was the only arrogant driver in F1 l could understand, but for gods sake the sport is littered with them! And more with arrogant substandard drivers who thought they were gods gift to Bernie Ecclestone.

Perspective, Lewis is 23 years old, leading the championship in his second season in a great car, the world is at his feet & he is dating a Pussycat Doll (had to get that in) does not all that give u licence to be a TAD proud of yourself? Why should he walk around humbled? He has worked damn hard to get where he is- yes he has been introuduced to F1 with a successful team -but he still had to display the talent to be taken seriously.
Drivers r not in F1 to be make friends, a driver is there win races & titles. Mr Roebuck of all people should know this nugget of F1 law.

l agree with this statement.

l am surprised he just noticed that just in recent months. Most fans noticed his arrogance since mid last year, including myself.

Gosh, are not people jealous! Good luck to him.

To be honest, if you're at the top of ur game, in any sport & the newer, younger, fitter guy is getting more attention because he is good at what he does, it will bring rivalry.

In F1 u need self confidence, otherwise u should not be in the sport. Cast ur mind back to Michael Schumacher, it is the same thing. All the drivers r there to win, that is what makes them tick. If anything, the whole Hamilton business will spur them on more to fight more for the position in the sport.

Lastly, it does not help that the media tending to ask the majority of drivers about Hamilton, which annoys them slightly (and l do not blame them), so that wo not help either.

l like Hamilton, would not call myself a fan as such, but it is just the way to sport goes nowadays.

The difference between your list and McBrat, is that you list are all multiple WDC's, and McBrat has yet to reach that point when he is earned the right to be a little arrogant.
