l would love a job in rallying as part of the medical team but not sure how to go about it! Any help appreciated!

Check your local (or closest) rally host website to establish who provides this service, and contact them directly.

It is actually volunteer based. Go to rally-america.com or nasarallysport.com & find an event near you. They always need volunteers for medical sweep. Usually they will put one EMT or qualified Paramedic along with a ham radio operator. Go to the events home page & contact the event organizer. Not sure where u may be located but the season is dying down. Rally NY may need some people as well as LSPR. Remember to contact the event organizers & not the sanctioning body.

Local rallies usually pay a token amount for a Doctor, so l doubt if you could make a living from it.
But if you are thinking about WRC then you should do a bit of research and maybe approach Subaru or Ford directly
