l love this time of year where football and racing overlap!Did any of you watch the Monday Night game between the Vikings and the Saints?Wow, talk about fireworks!l see our top contributor in the NASCAR section (david g) is ALSO a Vikings fan!Anyone else like football or what other sports do you pay attention to?Thanks.
l also like AMA Superbikes and some open wheel racing as well.l like college basketball better than the NBA.

football and NASCAR are 1 and 1A. l can not say one is my favorite over the other, but l definately prefer NASCAR when it comes to attending the event live. football does not even come close to NASCAR when it comes to seeing it live.

l will watch any sport really, but my first love after NASCAR is hockey(Go Devils), then Giants football, & Yankees baseball, hell l will even watch Manchester United soccer games when l can.
Dennis F. when anyone in the sports u mentioned can strap into a car & run at 180mph for 400-600 miles with a 14-15 second stop every so often. All the while pulling 4g is every 10 seconds, in 140 degree heat then comment. Now if do not like NASCAR there is really no need to comment in the NASCAR section is there, thank you. l agree! This is the best time of year! Nascar and football! And to be honest, l survive the racing offseason with the playoffs and the Superbowl. After that, its a short two weeks until the Daytona 500.
This year l have to add another sport.MLB. The Rays are in the postseason and moving on the the AL Championship series against the Red Sox! Go Rays!

l am not nearly as loyal to any other sport like l am with NASCAR, l pay attention but not very knowledgeable. With that being said my second favorite sport is football but since the Lions r so embarrassing a-gain, l am finding it really hard to watch. Do not get me wrong l am a loyal fan but just kind of sick & tired of the same old Lions. When they win the Superbowl at least l can say l was a fan for the 50 years they stunk up the NFL (woah did l just age myself? OK l am way under 50 but they have stunk for more than 50 years..LOL) So thank God only 2 more days till the Wings season gets underway!
Which by the way is my 3rd favorite to watch.
Let is go Red Wings!

My second favorite sport is a motorsports and l did not know if l could call it my second because it a motorsports. My second favorite saying that is NHRA Drag Racing. If that is still considered the same as Nascar the my second favorite sport is Football(NFL & NCAA) Go Cowboys & Hook'em Horns!
