for me first l would allow for next day qualifing if it rains and if you can run within a certain time of the fastest car you should be able to race even if that means there are more than 43 cars. also l would change the top 35 to the top 12 cars are automatically in the race. what changes wold you make?

Wow. thats a bad idea about switching 35 to 12.. what if your favorite driver was 13th in points. and crashes during qualifying. Then he wouldnt make it. The top 35 is good how it is. l just hate how they give up on qualifying so easy. Just do it the next day.

l agree, l would post'pone qualifying until the rain is over. Then everybody would qualify on time, period! The fastest 43 cars would run the race, no exceptions.

Try to qualify the next day but sometimes it is not possible as there maybe more than just the Cup series running on the track for that weekend.

Nobody likes my idea, but it works.

Implement a 75-mile qualifying race involving all the drivers outside of the top 25-30 in DRIVER'S points. Top [insert # to fill the field] transfer to the race. This way you have to EARN your way into the race.

Qualifying is not broken so do not go fixing it. The points system is and thats what needs to be fixed.

l had an idea close to yours, l thought the previous years Chase contenders should be the only locked drivers for the entire year.

No provisionals or owners points you qualify on speed and speed alone. If you do not qualify you do not race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
