Heidfeld, if he goes who will take up teh BMW seat with Alonso almost certain to stay at Renault?

I'd like it to be Vettel. l think with a bit more car under him,he would be the man to catch.

l thought honda kept both of there drivers?

if nick does go which l hope he doesn't, l think someone from GP2 might make a break through.

considering that bruno senna is tight with Gerhard Berger he might get a drive with toro rosso.

Based on that information.. Its very hard to say. because even BMW is test line-up is not of the oeuvre that would warrant immediate promotion (Klien & young Asmer), so finding a driver from within will be pretty difficult.

l can not see them really wanting a young gun, because their objective is to be at the top. McLaren could afford to with Hamilton because they had Alonso & it paid off way more than they expected. but BMW do not have the same driver resources. They must be banking (quite literally) on getting Alonso. but he likes being at Renault. otherwise a rookie might be their only real option..

Vettel is now tied in at RBR. but is Mark Webber!?! He could be an option as he has experience & determination, plus some talent that come to fruition in a genuine front-running car. they could take a gamble on Sutil who is getting better (not spectacularly, but he is becoming solid), or try & wrangle Glock from Toyota (but again he likes it there).

Senna has close ties to Gerhard Berger at STR, but they have the whole Red Bull stable to choose from, & have expressed interest in Sato. so maybe they could give Bruno a big break alongside Kubica (who might be happy knowing he is de facto team leader)

I'd say go for Webber, & if thats a no, gamble on a youngster like Senna or maybe Sutil if he has some really cracking races at the end of the year.

My honest reaction assuming that story is true means that there is only one man possible and that man is Nico Rosberg and in that deal either Christian Klien goes the otherway to take Rosbergs old Williams seat if he did move or Klien stays and Hulkenberger gets promoted from Williams test driver duties

It would be good to see Vettel in a slightly better car, bring out the best in him, he is a great driver. Maybe even Glock

l am not really sure who would be available. My instinct would be with Glock or possibly Sutil, as everyone else (Vettel, Rosberg) seems to be taken.
