Anyone else want to complain? No? Oh,how surprising-Ferrari throwing their toys out the pram.again. Just bad sportsmanship. A new track,not perfect,but will be sorted by next year. If Massa had won,instead of dragging the fuel-hose down the pit-lane,Ferrari would've been saying how wonderful the track was. You KNOW it.

Just because their team made a mistake at the pit stops and just because Kimi Raikkonen is not performing as well as he should be, Ferrari should not be bitter about the race and call the track a 'circus track'. If the rest of the drivers and teams are full of praise for the Singapore GP, then there is not really a solid reason for Ferrari to make that claim.

i checked out the article & its one of those articles in which things r put cleverly to create controversy and/or attract readers.

maybe he actually wanted to talk about the safety car & the problems its comming out created..he just referred to the race & as those things happened at singapore ..no question he had to say 'singapore gp was an circus..as he couldnt for sure name someother track & say it was an circus to describe the things happened at singapore..
he is got an poor english.so things something doenst come out of his mouth the way his mind wants..
He didnt talk about the tracks problem..like about the design of the track or anything.or it being a night race..he just talked about the safety car issue..

The track did suck. Worse than a tornado.

F1 cars have surpassed street racing, and they should all be discontinued. Including Monaco. Have vintage races at Monaco if you wish.

l agree, it was a great race and l like the look of the circuit.

It was not just jealous comments Montezemelo was making, he slagged of the track before the weekend. He is publicly stated that he does not have faith in the new street circuits.

l personally thought Singapore was a great race. Okay, it lacked overtaking & the result was heavily affected by the safety car. But l liked the flowing nature, the bumps, the spectacle. It is in a great location for F1. l think there were quite a few fans coming from India in the grandstands. After the total let down of Valencia Singapore was welcome.

And personally, l do see a problem with the safety car rule. Not the safety car ofcourse, this is an element of F1 racing, but not banning pit stops under the safety car. This causes adverse affects on results. Safety cars, the rain, & car failures r all forces that u should not be able to control in F1 & can favor some flukey results. l am happy with that. But drivers losing positions because they r low on fuel & have to pit during the safety car? That is unacceptable. The rules need to change.

l am only unhappy with the safety car rules.i can not accept the drivers having to take penalties when they pit during the safety car period..wtf is that?! There're loopholes in this regulation..and they seriously need to review it..

and Ferrari should really consider reverting back to the lollipop man system..their new system could kill and Massa is mishap last weekend was not the first case..Kimi suffered before too

Something like that could happen at any track & occasionally some of the leaders will end up losing track position & some of the backmarkers will end up in front as we have already seen a few times this year. He is an idiot & a moron for singling out the singapore track & l doubt anyone at all agree is with his dumbass opinion about this track.

The safety car rule affected BMW on this race as well & it cost Kubica a podium but u do not hear Mario Theissen complaining about the new venue.

the ferrari boss has lowered himself to be a caller of Sour Grape when cannot reach...just like a normal human being..what is so great?

He has not given the due respect to the participants of the F1 Night Race in S'pore by calling it a circus track meaning those taking part from all over the world are clowns and animals including his team but not him, a great man. Fool always call others FOOLs as Mad man always say, l am not MAD ..but just a little.!!!.

The problems with the track were known before the start of the race. What this race proves beyond all doubt is that both Torro Rosso & Renault have cars that, given the right circumstances, can compete on an equal footing with Ferrari & McLaren.
Instead of bemoaning the safety car, they should be glad! Why does a rugby ball / football bounce funny? Why do various sports have some sort of random chance thrown in? Because it makes the game more interesting & because it does not stop a top team from winning.
In regards to Ferrari is refueling problem, the answer is very very simple: PUT A REFUELLING SENSOR ON THE CAR! How hard is that? How heavy is a couple of micro switches? If any highly paid Ferrari engineers want to know how to wire it up, l can tell them for free.
Lets imagine a senario: Massa has a red light ''Head Up Display'' inside his car telling him when the fuel hose is attached to the car. He sees the green light on the ''traffic lights but the red light is still on. He waits. The traffic light changes back to red. Finally the red light in the car goes out & the green light is on, Massa exits the pitlane & wins the race. NO DRAMA! NO ACCIDENT! Someone gets a rap on the knuckles for a wrong light that the TV cameras may not have even seen.

l saw the following statement:

''Di Montezemolo – who said ahead of the event that he expected a “let down” – reckons it was damaging for the sport that the circuit couldn’t provide exciting racing in normal conditions.''

My understanding of his statement, F1 is boring in street circuits because there is no over-taking. It is wrong that u need crashes & safety cars to make it exciting.

In this case, l would agree with him that F1 should do something about this. l love F1, but am very frustrated by the lack of overtaking opportunities. Which this also happens on certain racing circuits, it is even more so in street circuits.

The track is Indeed only good for spectators! not for races!
If u ppl think u enjoyed the race non of the drivers did enjoy it!

The safety car did compromise EVRYONE is race. BUt Ferrari suffered the most because of their semi auto refuel system. not because of SC. l guess Montezemolo is just feeling a bit sore about not scoring a single point

l agree with gromit80, these cars have outgrown street circuits.

singapore & valencia reminded me of the old US F1 street circuits, utterly bland, boring race tracks producing bland & boring races. if the SC was not deployed , it would have been another processional parade.and frankly, the safety car should not decide the outcome of a race. even as l think Fernando Alonso deserved the win.

l can perhaps understand the historic value of Monaco, but for the other street circuits. nada
