Now that we are hearing that Paul Menard is leaving to join Yates Racing....who do you think it out (if anyone) at Yates?? Will Paul be driving the #28 the #38 or a third car next year? l am sure we will find out today....but just thought I'd post to get some of your thoughts.
What do you think? Me, l think Gilliland will be looking for employment but l could be wrong.

l remember seeing rumors of Yates Racing looking to expand to three cars so l predict Paul Menard will run the #90 Menard is Ford.

They will add a new team.
Earlier this season there was talks that the entire #26 team of Jamie McMurray would be moving to Yates. Not sure why that fell through.

l believe Yates is looking to be a three car team. Why? l dont know. If you cant even be competiteve with two cars why would you want to expand to three cars. doesnt make sense to me..

Paul Menard? When there are drivers like Carpentier and Allmendinger out there.why??

But yeah, l think they're trying to move to a 3-car team. Do not see why, when they were struggling to find sponsors for one car earlier this season.

selke, you were wondering why if they had trouble finding sponsorship for 2 cars why add a 3rd. It is simple Menard brings his own sponsor. Menard is family was the primary sponsor in the 15 car, and was a secondary on the 8 car.

Yates will probably go to 3 cars next year and maybe 4 the year after, when Jack has to get rid of his 5th team. We all know that Yates is just a sattellite team for Roush/Fenway anyway as Stewart/Haas will be for HMS.

I'd say they want a 3 car team and like Wedge said, Paul Menard brings his own sponsorship with him & it is a biggie. True there are other driver to choose from but none with their own sponsorship. This could get real interesting. The way the money situation is these days, l think there will be more teams looking to merge. JMO

l think Gilliland is out. l personally dont think he can cut it, l dont even think he has been in the past few races, and if he was then l didnt notice him which means that he cant be doing to well.

Maybe Kvapil since l think l read on Jayski is that his contract with Yates ends this year. If not then he will drive a third car.

l think Gilliland and Kvapil are staying put, right where they are.
