l did not come up with it, l remember seeing it and started using it for the honoree questions.
Nascar Chick, l think you are right, have not seen him in a while.

Unfortunately l have not met any drivers. l just do not have patience with waiting in long lines and thats usually a pre-requisite for driver meets. Maybe one of these days.

With living in NC comes the perks of meeting several drivers, which l feel very honored to meet each time. Over the years l have met Richard Petty, Kyle Petty, Morgan Shepherd, Ernie Irvan, Bobby Hamilton Sr., Lake Speed, Michael Waltrip, Harry Gant, Bobby Labonte, Derrike Cope, and Joe Nemechek. Not so many of the new drivers.. l do not get out and about to some of the special functions in NC like l used to.

Since the first race l went to in 1960 until Talladega this past spring l have meet and got autographs or pictures of nearly 200 drivers.

The only driver I've met so far is Kurt Busch. l know kind of pathetic but one day l will meet Harvick! Welcome back Zalex and enjoy your day of honor dude.

Have met quite a few of the drivers. my favorite would be Carl Edwards of course.. Richard Petty gave me goose bumps.. Kyle Petty did a motorcycle run through here earlier this summer - great guy!!! Kevin Harvick is not nice.. and Tony Stewart has good days and bad days.. do not we all! LOL l have several albums with race pictures.. l have a blast at the track.. my favorite place to be!

Back in the day l met Ricky Rudd cool dude, spent about 1/2 hour chatting with him & l am a short girl & l was eye to eye with him, pretty funny. Recently l met Clint Bowyer, not really like sat down & chatted but l had spent a day in the garages & after the race he was cruising around in a golf cart in the Paddock parking lot & he recognized me stopped & told me l had a nice smile, that l looked like l had great fun all day long & to be careful driving home, a lot of lunatics on the roads. What a cool guy. l met Wendy Venturini the same day & did shake her had & chatted with her too, nice girl.

Yep.meeting & chatting with Dale Sr. will forever be the highlight of my whole NASCAR experience. l got into watching it because of him & remain a fan today.
l also met & actually talk to besides Sr. was Chad Little, Kyle Petty, Jon Wood & Ken Scrader. Autographs l got from Chad Little, Kyle Petty, Ken schrader, Larry MacReynolds, Ricky Craven, Mike Bliss, & my cousin works fro David Stremme & sent me an autographed picture of him.

The second driver that l ever met.to talk to.was Chad Little. He was in his merchandise trailer & no one was lining up.and so l went over & chatted him a bit & next thing u know people were coming over. l know l purchased a few things from his trailer, one being a John deere hat that he signed.

l met kasey kahne at the coca cola 600 this year. l got to congratulate him, but you already knew that :)

Kasey Kane, before he was in NASCAR, he was driving dirt cup cars in Washington state. The local dirt track that l lived near (Skagit Speed Way) has a HUGE 3 or 4 day Hoot-in-anny, and l was a a party that KK was at, talked and sold him a hot dog.

l have met Richard Petty,Kyle Petty,Dale Earnhardt Sr.& Jr.,Bill Elliot ,Darryl Waltrip ,Mikey,Brett Bodine ,Todd Bodine,Ricky Rudd,David Pearson,Junior Johnson,Cale Yarborough,and was about 50 feet away from meeting Jeff Gordon 3 Times !!! Congrats Zalex !! Enjoy your day!

Back in 1989, l met Paul Newman at the races that were held at the meadowlands in New Jersey. RIP;

I've met a few at Bristol. My favorite one that l will never forget was Senior. Also met Kevin Harvick & Junior. Got to shake Smoke is hand if that counts.
