l would have liked to seen that deal go through. That way Jr would be about 20th in points while trying to run DEl (he can barely finish sentences), run Whisky River, and manage his alcohol and media responsibilities in the process. l think all that stress would have resulted in him going into depression. Kudos to Teresa for not letting Dale Jr and Jr Nations huge ego affect her decision.

Ok, people tend to forget Jr has 2 championships in Nationwide as an owner as well as a driver(Truex in 04 & 05), so he does know how to run a race team. Also JR Motorsports had modern equipment(7-post shaker,etc) that DE l did not have until they merged with Ginn & moved into that shop, & that was for a Busch car & 3 Late Models, DE l did not even have that for 3 Cup cars, & in fact they used to bring the 8 over to JR Motorsports to test it. Also if Jr was running the racing operations, it is highly doubtful that DE l is racing braintrust (Hmiel, Eury Sr) would've left. Face it look at what DE l is got left, 4 cars, 3 drivers, & 1 sponsor, yeah Theresa made a really good decision there.

l disagree. l think he'd be running better with DE l than he is with HMS.
I've been saying, at DE l he'd be top dog. At HMS, he is just one of three.
That #8 car is running better than the #88.
Jr. would be higher in the points standings, and most likely have more wins this season had he have stayed.

But you know what they say about hindsight..

someone does not ''hand'' you your birthrite, you're entitled to it. if it were not for juniors incredible popularity, DE l would have gone under years ago. with only 1 full time sponser and 1 decent driver left in the stable, DE l has become the laughing stock of NASCAR. so yeah, kudos to teresa for running her late husbands company into the ground, i'm sure dale earnhardt would be real proud of the great job she is done with it. (rolls eyes)

Well this is the way l look at it, & not trying to be rude, there is no longer a DE l it is now TEI. DE l was JR is birthright & he deserves everything his dad worked hard for along with his siblings. l have been a fan for a long time & was not happy at all that he chose where he is but that was his choice & l feel he is doing great. And as a loyal fan l will stick by him no matter where he is.

Dale Jr & the #88 team is #1 & will always will be in my opinion.

My answer is not going to be popular, but it is the truth. l cheer for Jr, so do not think that l am not a member of the Jr nation, l am. People need to see through the smoke.

l am so glad that he went to Hendricks. It was the best thing in the world for him. l do not think he would be as bad as 20th in points if he was still at DEI, because he drove the heck out of crap last year. l do think his life & his pressure would be a lot greater at DEI.

l know he could NOT handle the pressure of driving for his own team, especially with DE l being so far behind. At Hendricks all he has to do is worry about Tony Jr getting his car perfect for him & drive it(and gripe on the radio). It is obvious on the radio during the races that Jr can not adjust to pressure. It is almost like his anxiety overpowers him. As soon as his car gets a little off, he loses it. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his cars. It would have been too hard on him to try to fix everything at DE l that was needed to get his cars up to par. Do not get me wrong. l think he is a good driver. Until the chase he had the best consistancy on the best team in Nascar. As soon as the Chase started, l think the anxiety started. Maybe he needs a little klonapin. (realy no joke)

Hendricks was the best thing that happened to Dale Jr. Teresa did him a favor. Number one he gained the father figure & praise that he has lacked since his Daddy died. Number 2, Although The Rousch Team is hot right now, Jr is on the best team in Nascar. Number 3, he has made more money$$$ with all of his new products with his new sponsors than he has made in his career.

He would be in a big mess if Teresa would have given in.
As bad as Earnhardt fans hate to admit it, She was the one who helped Dale Sr. promote his products & make his millions. Kind of like how Priscilla Presley helped Elvis market himself. Teresa was the driving force behind Dale Sr getting all of his trademarks. The drivers make more money from sales than they do from the races. Dale Sr himself talked about how Teresa helped him get his money. l think Dale Sr should have left a portion of DEi to the kids, but he was a man who believed that they needed to build things for themselves. He was the type of parent that did not hand out to the kids everytime they held out their hand. He knew that they could do it on their own & that is what he expected & l believe THAT is exactly why he did not leave them any stock in DEI. Teresa was just following Big Dale is wishes.

Dale Jr will win a Championship with Hendricks. He is a great driver. He just needs to work on some personal things first. l honestly think if he started eating right & working out, that he would feel a lot better mentally & physically. As a nurse, l think there r times that l think that Jr does not look well.

You can say what you want, and everyone will, as entitled. So as not to repeat, l will just say, l am a Dale is Girl too, so l will ''Ditto'' what the Dale is girls B-4 me said. He is my guy and l am sticking to it!

Just think though dudeless. He is picking up a whole lot of experience and learning some major business tactics. He could still end up with DEI. After all, he is the main Earnhardt roaming the race tracks.
