Yes but text messaging 160,000 fans and changing the schedule at the last minute after a year of planning would have been difficult. It is not realistic.

You're absolutley right. They wasted 2 hours of t.v. time in that pre-race. Had they cut the pre-race to 1 hour, the race would have finished and alot of the debating today would be focused on the race itself (as it should) instead of the finish. Major failure on NASCAR is part. They are well aware of weather reports.

Very good question. You are exactly right. They should have started the race earlier. They could have started it at 1 eastern.

l think that is a great idea! To be honest, l get tired of so much talking before the race anyway. Talk is cheap.

Exactly ! NASCAR blew it ! l phoned my sister who lives ten minutes from the track at noon, she said rain had been falling was forecast to arrive again after five o'clock. l will bet 95% of the race fans in attendance gave a crap about Keith Urban (?) . l think that is who it was. l went to the Laundromat.

l care about Keith Urban. It was a great concert. Everybody knew the race was starting at 3:45. Jayski has the times for all the races. It is been starting at 3:45 the last three years and nobody had complainrd till this year. l was at the race and l like the 3:45 start time. l can wake up later, get some good lunch at the mall and so some shpooing at the trailers.

yeah, they should have moved up the start time. They've done it before because of weather, and they knew when the rain was going to set in. they wasted all that time on the Digger cartoons, when they could have been racing. there is no reason that they could not have gotten 500 miles in.

Tbone ia wrong, all that has to be done is to put a statement on the tickets when they are printed that reads as follows,. The Race starting time is approximate, and subject to change it may upset people getting there after the Start, but they would see a fight to the finish on the end instead of giving someone the race.
