you got to think NASCAR just wants to get as many sponsors involved as possible.

l like Hey Ben is idea of just calling it the NASCAR Cup Series. What would be wrong with that?

probably after last week l would name it something like waaaa l got wrecked and missed my pits and nascar needs to change the rules series, oh and l am the only one to have pink in the pits

How about anything other than after some corporation. Theres Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Basketball Association and we're stuck with Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Series. Just like F1 has races like the Japanese Grand Prix while we get the Hardees 250.

Nascar. Do not need to expand it any more. The name says it all, but without huge corporate sponsors, there would not be any big money to be made. l would like to see it go back to Winston Cup but God forbid somebody knew there were cigarettes in this country to smoke.

l would leave it called Sprint Cup Series if it has to have a company name, which it does because of the money. And to respond to mbl, NASCAR is still NASCAR just like MLB and NFL etc. The races and series are named for corporate sponsors but so are the stadiums and fields in baseball and football etc.

Hey Ben has a great idea. Just call it the NASCAR Cup Series. That way NASCAR does not have to cowtow to another sponsor.

Let is just go back to winston Cup, that is when it was fun.

The Cup series would be the Grand National Series, and the Nationwide series would be Grand National Lights.

Go back to the old days and call it the Grand National series.

l would have Planters Peanuts be the sponsor, and Mr. Peanut could be their trademark logo, and they would call it the Nut Cup
