l am looking for a local Kart track to my House. l live in Gastonia, NC right on the SC border. l am looking for a Kart track within and hour of my house. Also, l just moved here a year ago. If anyone could tell me a Kart shop to go through in the area with a good reputation.

l am not looking for a a pay to play rental track. l am talking Dirt/Asphalt Oval or even a sprint track. Using real WKA/IKF style karts.

VIR on the VA/NC border has a sprint kart track thats supposed to be real nice.

Here is a link to trackforums. It is a board for dirt track racing across North & South Carolina. There is a section on here for a few go kart tracks. You can look on ther & ask for information if it is needed.

Also if u r looking to go to a dirt track to watch the race then Carolina Speedway runs on Saturday starting in March. They out on a great show every week. On Saturday night Lancaster Speedway in Lancaster SC puts on a great show also. It is about the only 1/2 mile track in North or South Carolina.
