A great quiz question being deleted after a best answer given, why? So l go on the F1 section to answer a few questions and the last 5 questions are,
a 1/4 mile drag strip question
a Lewis Hamilton rant
TWO formula or equation questions, maths in other words
and a how do l become a race mechanic question, is there any justice?
Anyway, rant over! (Crap day at work and in a mood) Hows about a real question, do you think KERS problems will make Australia a race of attrition, due to poor cooling problems?

Looking through his Q&A he appears to delight in telling teenagers to do their own homework & in recommending to his friends that a Q be deleted for not being nl enough for him.

A waste of half an hour for me setting the quiz & a waste of an awful lot more of cavallino is time in answering it in several edits through the day.

To answer ur question: yes, l expect a few more cars than usual to get parked. l do not think the race will be over until it is over, as Murray might have said.

It is a shame is not it, the person who flagged it is probably an idiot who could not even fathom any of the questions, & put all of Cavallino is good work in the bin.


Anyway... l do expect KERS to have some say IF everyone uses it. At the moment it looks like only BMW Sauber & McLaren r confident in taking it to Oz. The Renault/RBR system has been run but they have not commented on whether they want to use it from the outset of the season. Ferrari have ran theirs, but have had problems in the last few tests regarding cooling & failures. Williams r still developing their flywheel system & could use it early in the year, but not Oz. Brawn wo not use one as l imagine it was put on the backburner for now. F l might have theirs up & running later in the year but not now.

Oz is always an attrition race anyway, so l doubt we will have more than 12 cars running at the end.

Hi! l am still pretty happy because l had fun finding the . But l am kinda sad for the Y!A F1 section because there were a lot of interesting questions & in that quiz for people to look up.

How about calling them multiple questions (ok l ran out of creativity here lol) or something similar the next time? That way, they wo not consider it ''knowledge testing''.

After Kimi is breakdown in practice today l imagine a race like Melbourne 2008.
With predictable first race unreliability coupled wit the KERS cooling problems, they could be dropping like flies.
l am not sure whether this will be interesting or boring :S

l feel your pain julian, l was upset when my attempt to gather the group for the fantasy f1 league got reported, which BTW still has little time left to join, hint hint hint

This is why l have not been on for so long, l got fed up with petty people violating good questions!!!

Y!A needs to be a bit more diligent in responding to reporting. There should be some respect given to to a multiple section TC & too with a 55% best record. If some upstart who cannot give a respectable answer in about 400 attempts has more ''credibility can not help but sigh. I'd also put in about 10 minutes time in my pathetic attempt to answer what Cavallino Silver missed out (sigh). Damn the snitch!

For the answer, the Oz race is impressive in attrition even without any help from KERS. My prediction, maybe one or two DNF is because of KERS malfunction (maybe four teams would use KERS) & 3-4 due to new adjustable wings & 3-4 due to driver error (read as stupidity, over enthusiasm, driving too close to Crashajima & overestimating self). Force India gets the first points. ;-)

l assume it was rosbif is Q who got deleted. It is kinda common to see those sort of questions that u mention here. Some r not even in the correct section which is really annoying. l think Y!A should allow a special banner for the F1 section which says Motor Racing. But then again if anyone attempts to post their question here they should seee this:

Sports>>Auto Racing /Motor Racing >> Formula One

l think that would've made it perfectly clear what F1 is all about.

KERS.. should give us soemthing interesting to see in two weeks or so. (i think all teams will be working on a solution so it is not much to worry about) If they have cooling problems we will be seeing only a few cars finishing the race when it comes to Sepang. (or maybe they can just push their cars)
