Yes. Yesterday with 10 laps to go the husband and l were watching the race. We had paused it for 25 minutes so we could eat. We un-paused it and the husband hit something wrong on the remote. Which brought it to live TV again. The race was over and l missed my last 10 laps.

l hate when that happens!!! Our power went out in September for a week because of a really bad wind storm we had from a hurricane then in January our power went out for another week because of an ice storm! though it sucks, be greatful yours was only out for 3 hours!

My local FOX channel kept blinking a green screen off and on after recording it....... l turned it off and checked the results!!

Its never happened out here in Calif, but l do remember when l was growing up in the south, it happened a lot. thank god for Radios & batteries remember listening to finishes on the radio. But yes its not funny, my mom never cussed but one time the power went off during the July race in Daytona, totally blew me away when l heard a few wild words come out of her mouth.

Oh my! l have never had that happen.

Oh yeah. Back in 2000, l was watching the coca cola 600, & Matt Kenseth was leading with ten laps to go. l had the satellite back then, & whenever it rains, the cable goes out. Well, once it hit about 8 laps to go, it started pouring raining & about that time, the cable cut off. l have never been so mad lol. l did not get to see my driver win his first race. The cable finally cut back on & l heard the announcers saying, ''Well that concludes this broadcast, Thanks for watching.'' l was mad for a little while. Of all the times for the cable to cut off.

Really? One year l missed the Daytona 500. Because our power was out as well. It sucked.

Yeah, a Bristol Nationwide race in 2007, ESPN lost their video signal. It was a good finish, too.

That is so frustrating. I've not had that happen during a race, but it did during a basketball championship before.

yep. l used to have my satellite go out during rain storms as well, of all the times for it to go out - 15 laps left at Bristol. The timing was like a sick joke.

l guess I've been lucky.

It has never happened to me, yet..

My local cable Company, lost the signal at lap 46 and came back on with 35 to go, Then it went out again with 6 Laps to go and came back on with a Green ,White Checkers, totally bogus. Had to listen to the race on PRN. Reminds me of the old days when l used to listen to Indy on the Radio with my Dad on the front Porch, way back when l was a Little Guy.

Last week l lost the satellite signal at work due to snow on the dish, had to keep checking my phone to see what was going on.

l have not had that happen to me during a race, but l did have that happen while l was watching a movie at the theater. We got rainchecks and went back the next day.

Q. Why did the boy tiptoe past the medicine cabinet?

A. He did not want to wake the sleeping pills!

It happened to me last week. l set the DVR to record the Vegas race. While l was at work, my power went out, and did not record the last few laps. ooooh well.
Good thing for the net, l was able to watch recaps on you tube.
